Lois Elaine Smith went home to join her Lord and Saviour at Southbridge, Kemptville on Friday September 29, 2023 at the age of 87.

Lois was born to Norman and Florence Frost in 1936 in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Lois met her husband George in Oakville, Ontario in 1953 and they married September 25th, 1954 and had 3 children; Wayne (Diana), Gregg (Suzan) and Donna (James).  She is greatly loved by her grandchildren Derek (Kim), Stephen (Cathy), Shannon (Shannon), Leigh (Rob) and great grandchildren Vanessa and Peyton, Aaron and Nathan and Aray and Ryder. Also beloved mother to Brian Walker (Connie).

 

Lois was an active member of the Kemptville Christian Reformed Church for over 50 years and was often behind the piano and teaching Vacation Bible School.

Lois will rest at the Byers Funeral Home, 2990 Church Street, South Mountain (613-989-3836) from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, October 5, 2023. A Viewing will be held at the Kemptville Christian Reformed Church 2455 County Road 18, on Friday October 6, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 11:45 a.m. Interment South Gower Cemetery.

    We are so sorry for your loss of this dear woman, she has touched so many lives in so many different ways. She has been a part of our family for many many years she will be dearly missed.
