Peacefully at the Dundas Manor on Saturday September 2, 2023. Dick Byrd age 89 of Mountain. Beloved husband of the late June (Johnston). Loving Dad of Donna (late Roger) Billings, Douglas (late Susan), Bill (Robin), and Cory (Diane). Cherished Grandpa of Jason, Tanya, Andrew, Mitchell, Matthew, Kurtis, Taylar, Bailey and great-grandchildren Nathan, Sara, Austin, Kieran and Hallie. Dear brother of the late Betty (late Ray) Frohlick, Bonnie (late Gordon) King, Shirley (late Perry) Lavery, Ernest (late Margaret), Garry (Marion), Gail (Bernard) Smith, Marilyn (Norman) Beach, and the late Susan (John) Slater. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and the Johnston Family. By Dick’s request Cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will be held at South Gower Cemetery 501 South Gower Drive, Kemptville on Saturday September 16, 2023 at 11 a.m. Donations in Memory of Dick may be made to the Alzheimer Society. He was a calm and caring soul. I will cherish my memories of good times spent together. He and June are happily dancing or cruising on their bike through the clouds!
