It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother, wife and best friend. Born in Blacks Harbour, New Brunswick. Audrey moved to Toronto at the age of 16 and worked at Lily Cups. She lived in Toronto for a number of years and moved to Winchester, Ontario in 1998 to be near her daughter Diane and her family. Leaving behind her husband of 48 years, Vance McLeese, their children Wayne (Deborah), Michael (Joyce), son-in-law Gary, her 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, her sister Thelma (Carl), brothers Joseph (Barb) and Richard (Lorraine). Predeceased by her parents Della and Emery Hooper, her daughter Diane Annable and her brothers Albert, Harold and Edward. Audrey will rest at the Byers Funeral Home, 2990 Church Street, South Mountain (613-989-3836) on Tuesday January 31, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1:15 p.m. Interment Maple Ridge Cemetery. By family request donations in Memory of Audrey may be made to the Dundas County Hospice or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Online condolences may be made at www.byersfuneralhomeinc.ca

    We are going to miss you so much Nanny!
    You are now at rest and watching over us all. So glad we got to see you a few times this year and you got to see your great great grandson a few times. We will keep your memory alive by telling him stories and showing him pictures.

    I have such wonderful memories of Aunt Audrey. I used to love when we were kids and mom and dad took us to their home in Toronto to visit. Many memories of her and Vance I will never forget. She was so loved and will be sadly missed.
