Peacefully after a brief illness with her friends by her side at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Thursday December 22, 2022. Yvonne Deeks age 86 of Morrisburg. Predeceased by her parents Fred and Grace (Tully) Deeks and a brother John; sister of Alan and aunt of Michael and Lorna.
Cherished friend of Mary Sullivan and Doug and Patricia Grenkie. Yvonne commenced her legal career with G. William Gorrell Q C in 1956 and continued with the law firm of Gorrell Grenkie Leroy & Remillard. Yvonne was a 50 year member of Morrisburg Rebecca Lodge and a 60 year member of Moonlight Chapter O.E.S Iroquois.
By Yvonne’s request there will be no Visitation. A Private Graveside Service will be held in the Spring of 2023 at Fairview Cemetery. Cremation has taken place. Please no flowers, and for those who wish donations in Memory of Yvonne may be made to the In Memoriam Fund at St. James Anglican Church, Box 615, Morrisburg K0C 1X0.
