I remember Orma with a great deal of fondness. I started teaching at Cass Bridge school in fall 1960. I was having a terrible time as I wasn’t trained to teach 8 grades in one classroom. Orma helped me a lot and we remained friends for many years. She will always be close to my heart. Rest in peace, sweet lady.

From 1944 in the teachers college in Ottawa, to a meeting in Ottawa in 2019, I knew Orma Earl was a deep friend of my mother, Carrie Isaac. They were in Winchester United Church together, they were in Winchester United Couples Club together, they were raising Larry and Wendy at the same time as my sister and I, and comparing notes about teaching when they were meeting in social situations.

Orma never left you out of the conversation, and was always positive and smiling.

I thank GOD for the presence of Orma Earl, and her family.

    James Isaac,
and also on behalf of Margaret Isaac.
