Peacefully after a courageous battle with skin cancer at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Monday July 27, 2020. Henry Vriezen age 63 of Ottawa. Beloved son of Marie Engelberts and the late Alphonse Vriezen. Loving brother of Frank (Ellen), Rita (Henry) Velthuis, Natalie (Steven) Petit, Louise (David) Brearton and Karl Vriezen. Cherished uncle of Rachael and Devin Vriezen; Robert (Katherine), Brenda and Heather Velthuis; Hailey and Chantale Petit; Iain and Maia Brearton; Liam and Coralie Vriezen and great-uncle of Emily, Ethan and Liam Velthuis. Fondly remembered by the Engelberts family. A Private Family Graveside service will be held at the St. Daniel’s Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Memory of Henry may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Schizophrenia Society.
