After a short illness at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Tuesday October 30, 2018. Gordon Cowell age 88 of Winchester. Beloved husband of Katherine (Kay) Jackson. Loving Dad of Bruce, Greg (Carol) and Richard (Elizabeth). Cherished Grandpa of Lindsay (Michael) Schoeni, Kristen (Sebastian) Glenn-Anderson and great-grandchildren Kate and Benson Schoeni. Dear brother of Ruth (late Steve) Wright and predeceased by Garnet (late Mildred) Cowell. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Gordon will rest at the Byers Funeral Home, 2990 Church Street, South Mountain on Sunday November 4, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Winchester United Church 519 St. Lawrence Street on Monday November 5, 2018 at 1 p.m. Interment Maple Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Memory of Gordon to the Winchester United Church or the Winchester District Memorial Hospital. Online condolences may be made at www.byersfuneralhomeinc.ca
