June 1, 2017 at 12:00 amJosie, I will always remember with great fondness our many breakfast meetings in your tea room. Both of you were such wonderful hosts. Terry was always ready with his quick wit and big smile to share his knowledge peppered with humour. Terry was a supporter of the Small Business Centre and really “got” what we were all about. I am so very sorry to read of his passing and I wish you comfort in knowing that others share your grief. North Grenville has lost a strong advocate, he will be missed. Sending you love. Wendy

June 3, 2017 at 12:00 amTerry’s been a close friend since elementary school. It’s very hard to say goodbye to him. All the virtues of his adult life were there when he was a kid. And he was blessed with the indomitable Butler sense of humour. What fun it was to be with him, especially in the Butler kitchen when the jokes were flying.
He was also a very good baseball player. Very sad he’s gone but he’s left good memories. Sincere condolences to Josie and
family.

June 6, 2017 at 12:00 amI used to go to the Victorian pantry at lunch with my friends and it was always the highlight of my week. Whenever Mr Butler saw us walk in to the restaurant he always went to grab the usual tea my friends and I got. He always asked me how my day was going and sometimes he even gave us free muffins. I always walked out with a smile on my face.
Thank you Mr Butler, you will be missed. It
