Peacefully at the Kemptville District Hospital on Sunday October 29, 2017. Gertrude Ketelaars age 97 of South Mountain. Beloved wife of Martin Ketelaars. Loving Mom of Mary (Dwight) Bryan of Barrie, ON, Tony Ketelaars of Alberta, John(Connie) Ketelaars of South Mountain and the late Margaret Ketelaars. Cherished Oma of Scott (Kate) Bryan of Calgary, AB, Darren (Brianne) Bryan of Minesing, ON, Leticia (Andrew) Rodrigue of Brinston, Ashlie( Josh) Lavigne of Mountain, and Cayla Ketelaars of Halifax,NS. Great Oma of Natasha, Emily, Amelia, Jack , Leo; Bianca, Emelia and Aria.

Mrs Ketelaars will rest at the Byers Funeral Home, 2990 Church Street, South Mountain (613-989-3836) on Wednesday November 1, 2017 at 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at the St. Daniel’s Roman Catholic Church, Church Street, South Mountain at 11 a.m. Interment St. Daniel’s Catholic Cemetery.     Sending our deepest sympathies to Ome Tien and all the family on your loss. Tante Trus was a wonderful, kind woman and my only regret is that we didn’t get to spend more time with her. I’m not sure at this time if I will be able to make it to the funeral so if I don’t, please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
