With profound sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Ron Lewis, at home on Friday, July 7 at the age of 72.Beloved husband of the late Lynda Mitchell. Loving father to Kimberly and Robyn and devoted “Grampies” to Rachel and Mackenzie. Special uncle to many nieces and nephews. Close cousin to Brenda Gray and her sons Ryan and Geoff. Predeceased by his parents Jack and Alice Lewis. Ron is survived by his sister Beatrice (Robert) and his brother Arnold (Gwen). Ron will be dearly missed by his family, relatives, friends of the farm, and clients with his RBL Financial Services. He leaves a legacy of caring, kindness and a great sense of humour. He was a very good friend to so many.

July 8, 2017 at 12:00 amI will always remember the time I bragged to Ron that I was learning taxes in a course I was taking….he made me do mine while he worked on mom and dads. Then laughed at me because I claimed some farm amount…I was no farmer… Lol I had no clue what I was doing….Ron put me on the spot and had some fun with me. It kept me quiet and busy!! And I was advised not to do taxes professionally!! Haha He will be greatly missed by so many …always had a smile. My thoughts are with the family.

We had many happy times up at the farm.In 1994 Ron and I made contact when I worked for CRA. we laughed as we remember sitting in the kitchen and chatting.
