Stewart Arron Markwell October 3, 1938 - February 18, 2026

Peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital on Wednesday February 18, 2026. Stewart Markwell age 87 of Crysler.

Father of Allan, Fay and Alex Markwell. Dear uncle of Christina Washburn (the late Clayton Boomhower), Forest Washburn (Penny), and Robert Washburn (Connie). Cherished great-uncle of Julie Boomhower (Jerry Danis) and their children Saralynn, Emma, Mackenzie and Tyson. Loving brother of Clarence. Predeceased by his parents Alpha & Grace Markwell and his siblings Lucy, Diana, Austin, Elizabeth, Priscilla, Raymond, Percy, George & Elsie. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Stewart will rest at the Byers Funeral Home, 2990 Church Street, South Mountain (613-989-3836) on Wednesday February 25, 2026 from 1 p.m. until time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow.
