Scott Allan Beckstead February 22, 1957 - June 17, 2026

Peacefully at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Wednesday June 17, 2026. Scott Beckstead age 69 of Winchester. Loving partner of Karen A. Holmes. Loving Dad of Leah and Hannah Beckstead. Dear brother of Steve Beckstead (Julie) and Carol Tremblay. Also survived by his brother-in-law William Holmes. Predeceased by parents Dwane and Jean Beckstead (nee Wells) and his brother Garry Beckstead.  Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at the Maple Ridge Cemetery, Chesterville. By family request donations in Memory of Scott may be made to the Winchester Hospital (especially complex care and palliative care unit).

Arrangements entrusted to the Byers Funeral Home, South Mountain (613-989-3836).

      He wore his blue Leafs shirt at the hospital to the end. Never gave up on them, we teased him about it. He could hear us.

    We are so very sorry to hear of Scott’s passing. Our thoughts are with Karen and the family, as well as with Steve and Carol. We will always hold close the good times we shared together in our younger years.

    I’m so sorry to hear of Scotts passing. I knew Scott for many years and worked with Scott. He was a very nice person to work with. My sincere condolences to you Karen and his daughter’s. Condolences to Carol and Steven and the rest of the family. May you rest in peace my dear friend.
