Peacefully at the St. Lawrence Lodge on Thursday August 13, 2026. Robert “Bob” Leizert age 74 of Kemptville. Beloved husband of Goldie (Nee Gordon). Loving Dad of Rob Leizert (Neoska Auld), Kirk (Donna) Leizert, and Morgan David Leizert. Cherished Grandpa of Jessie (Charles) and Alexander and Great-Grandpa to Chloe and Leon. Fondly remembered by his siblings, John (Brenda), Garnet (Sharon), Lloyd (Nancy), Carol (Mark), Hilliard (Cathy), his sister-in-law Sue and brother-in-law Danny Gordon. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Bernice (Nee Lloyd) & Hilliard Leizert and siblings Gary (Jean), Tim, Gwen and Rick.
Cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will be held at the Shanly Cemetery, 757 County Road 21, Spencerville on Saturday August 29, 2026 at 12 Noon followed by a Celebration of Life at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 212, 100 Reuben Crescent, Kemptville from 1 to 6 pm. By family request donations in Memory of Robert may be made to Diabetes Canada.
