September 2, 2013 at 12:00 amTo Shirley and family

September 2, 2013 at 12:00 amShirley and family: What a terrible shock to hear about Ken. He was such a talented and hard-working man and so engaged in his life as a farmer, dairy producer and Ayrshire breeder. He leaves a huge legacy. Blessings of comfort and strength to you all.

September 2, 2013 at 12:00 amI couldn’t help but think about the many times I spent with Kenny traveling and or attending meetings. The thing that struck me the most was that he always had nothing but the highest praise for the character and accomplishments of his wife and children…something we all could learn from. Rest in knowing that.

September 3, 2013 at 12:00 amDear Shirley, Jeremy and Geena:
It is with profound sadness that I extend these thoughts and prayers to you all. Ken was one of my favourite patients and I always enjoyed our many visits and his positive smile and encouraging words. I loved how he always used people’s names when speaking to them. He loved his family and was very proud of all of you. He told me about taking his Mom out for lunch and how he enjoyed their time together. May God grant you His peace during this difficult season in your lives. I am so, so sorry. Hugs: Mary Ferguson

September 4, 2013 at 12:00 amWe were sadden to see the passing of Ken and wanted to let you know that we felt a wonderful friendship had just begun only year&1/2 ago,but seemed like we knew him fora lifetime. Being at your farm twice once to see the herd and purchase a calf Viva & the other to pick her up was such a great experience just talking & laughing with this happy go lucky fellow that could warm anyone’s heart in a matter of minutes!!as a matter of fact we had planned to call after next week to let him know the results of A-A show & possibly make another visit. Our hearts reach out to all of you now & in the days to come.Treasure the milestones of memories that you were all able to have with him as ours are much shorter, but seem like we’ve know him forever. His Canadian yea, smile from ear to ear, chuckle & all his knowledge of the herd & the firm handshake when we departed will always remain with us.We still would like to keep in Touch and with each passing day may your sorrow be lessened and your memories will grow much stronger……our deepest sympathy USA,PA Ayrshire friends,Harold&Barbara Rader
