Joan Wilha Ponting (Nee Bell)

Peacefully at the Dundas Manor on Tuesday September 22, 2026. Joan Ponting age 94 of Winchester. Beloved wife of the late Jack Ponting. Cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Jessie (nee McKercher) and Leonard Bell, and her siblings Lester, Ralph, Orland “Steve”, George “Sam”, Jean Volks, June Hoy, Clara “Betty” Baker and Maxine Baldwin.

Cremation has taken place. A family graveside service will be held at the Maple Ridge Cemetery, 12820-12898 County Road 43, Chesterville on Tuesday September 29, 2026 at 1 p.m. By family request donations in Memory of Joan may be made to the Winchester District Memorial Hospital Foundation-The New Dundas Manor.
