Jeffery Paul Boisvenue

Jeff passed away peacefully on Friday July 29th, 2022, at the age of 53, in the Brockville General Hospital Palliative Care Program, with his family by his side. Jeff’s 20-month battle with Metastatic Pancreatic Cancer showed his courage in facing life’s challenges with a smile. Despite many obstacles, Jeff came out a hero and stayed strong until the very end.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Sue Tousant (Nelson). Loving Dad of Megan and cherished Papa of Bentley. Loving  son of Louis and Solange (Couture) and dear brother of Jeanette (Mike) MacNaughtan. Jeff was a proud uncle of Jason and Sarah. He was also blessed with a very large extended family who will miss him dearly.

Jeff was known as a family man, a proud father, a great friend and a very talented craftsman. His proudest accomplishments were being a dad and being the first in Canada to obtain his Canadian Registered Safety Technician designation.

Jeff liked to fish and his best catch was the love of his life, Sue, whom he met on Plenty of Fish. Jeff and Sue spent 16 wonderful years together, raising his beautiful daughter Megan and their grandson (Jeff’s mini-me) Bentley.

Jeff was a rare combination of someone who had a love of life and a firm understanding of what was important – the simplicity of living a life with those you love. His kindness, humor and compassion will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone he interacted with. To a life well lived, to a man well loved, to a career well done and a legacy left for us to remember and admire.

A Celebration of Jeff’s Life will be held at the Drummond Building, 22 Ryan Street, Spencerville on Friday August 5th 2022. Visitation will begin at 1:00pm, short service to be held at 2:30pm and a reception to follow. A private internment will be held at a later date.
