Peacefully at the Dundas Manor on Friday February 19, 2021. Jim King age 84 of South Mountain. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Cathleen King and his sisters Iris Hepworth and Eleanor Lawless. Dear uncle of Carol Pilon and Philip Hepworth. Fondly remembered by many friends. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. February 27, 2021 at 8:27 amWhen I first attended St. Mathias in Winchester I would sit with Jim. It was always a pleasure seeing him. Later I would not see him often at church yet looked forward to the Christmas Caroling the 1st Winchester Canadian Scouting group would partake in. I would always see him and I would stop to say hello. As always he greeted me with a warm smile and a firm hand shake. Thanks to Jim for making me feel welcome where ever we met. I can truly say that it was his kindness that helped me feel at home in my new community. Rest in Peace Jim you are remembered with fondness.
