It is with profound sadness that the family of Doug Hart announces his passing on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at the age of 58, after a courageous battle with cancer from devastating complications.

 

Doug will be forever loved and remembered by his devoted wife, Manon Joly, and his greatest pride and joy, his sons, Tylor (Brittany Godfrey), Dylan (Breanna Lockett), and Michael. He will also be deeply missed by his cherished grandchildren, Brayden, Devin, Owen, Antonio, Olivia, and Jayson, who brought him immense joy.

 

He is survived by his mother, Earlene Hart (late Gerald); his brother, Donald; sister-in-law, Stephanie Todd (late Dennis); his nephew Dean, of whom he was especially proud; as well as extended family including his sister Deeanna Clark (Adam), nieces Alana and Courtney, and great-nephews Kyle and Justin.

 

He also leaves behind many dear friends and his beloved godson, Hunter McDonald.

 

Inurnment will take place at St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery, Becketts Landing, on Friday September 12, 2025 at 2 p.m.

 

Doug will be remembered for his strength, resilience, quick wit, and the deep love he held for his family and friends. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
