Suddenly on Wednesday April 15, 2026. Survived by his mother Stephanie, wife Bethany (nee Padget), his children Owen and Allison, Aunt Jane (Uncle Dick), and cousin David (Lisa). Resting in paradise – most likely with a fishing pole in his hand – with his father Michael and grandfather David.
His laughter and charisma will be sorely and dearly missed by many friends, coworkers, and fellow collectors.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In the meantime, raise a glass of your choice to cheer, blast some heavy metal, and smile with the memories he made with us while he was here.
Arrangements entrusted to the Byers Funeral Home, South Mountain (613-989-3836).

May 6, 2026 at 5:27 pmI am so sorry Bethany, there are no words to properly express how I am feeling. So many memories. Cottage parties, the broken guitar he bought at that concert we all went to, driving to the Sens game and being stuck in the parking lot, the list goes on. He introduced me to poutine. I was so grossed out by the idea of it and he convinced me to try some. No regrets, he was correct, it is delicious. It was one of my first “Canadian” experiences. Sending all of my love to you and the kids.
